The Dogs Trust and MINI
We’re a nation of pet lovers; it’s estimated that more than half of the UK households have at least one pet, and that there’s approximately 12 million dogs living in a UK home. It’s true that some manufacturers consider our pets when designing vehicle accessories, but it seems that for the main part, our furry companions just have to fit in around our motoring lifestyle.
Even with FSD (Full Self-Driving) cars coming in the pipeline, it’s doubtful that we’ll ever see a car tailored specifically for our pets (although fans of the latest Dr Who series might disagree), but MINI have recognised that dogs are a big part of our lives. That’s why they’ve teamed up in partnership with the dog welfare charity, Dogs Trust.
MINI Dogs Hub
The ‘MINI Dogs Hub’ is all about … well … dogs.
With the help of the Dogs Trust, they will be sharing knowledge and information – expert tips and tricks, advice on travelling, and ‘paw-fect’ accessories.
It will give you all the information you need to help you choose a dog-friendly car, or tips for happy dog travel, tell you where to find the best dog-friendly beaches … all with a sense of community and fun; paw-fect accessories, paw-sitively passionate about pooches, and things your pooch will love ‘fur sure’.
All this from the winner of “Dog Friendly Car of the Year 2021” (the Clubman in case you were wondering).
Dogs Trust MINI
If you can get past (paw-st?) the dog puns, it’s an excellent resource which is sure to make your dog’s motoring life better. You find the MINI Dogs Hub here.
